FOUNDATIONS OF STUDENT LEADERSHIP · FOR HIGH SCHOOLS
Who Let the Dogs Lead?
Discover your leadership DNA.
An interactive 8-session course for high school students built around Jim’s book Who Let the Dogs Lead? Leadership Lessons from the Pack. Through the story of nine dogs facing a crisis, students learn that leadership is behavior, not a title — and that the strongest teams blend diverse styles rather than crowning a single top dog.
WHY THIS COURSE WORKS
A Story Arc, Not a Workbook
Most leadership programs hand students a binder. This one hands them a pack — the nine dogs of the Barking Dog Pound — and follows them from crisis to collaboration across eight 60-minute sessions. The lessons come through the story, not in spite of it.
Across the eight sessions, students build skills in integrity, listening, teamwork, leading under pressure, and casting vision — anchored by reflection journals and hands-on activities students remember long after the last session.
