At J&L Petersen Inc., we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward return and refund policy for all items purchased through our website.
Returns
- You may return any item within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Items must be in their original, unused condition — undamaged, unmarked, and free of writing or highlighting.
- Items that arrive damaged or defective will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost to you.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us using the contact form on our website. Include your order number and a brief description of the reason for the return. We will respond with return instructions within 2 business days.
Return Shipping
- For items that arrived damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
- For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
Non-Returnable Items
- Digital products or downloadable content
- Items returned after the 30-day return window
- Items that are not in their original condition (damaged by the customer, missing pages, etc.)
